BEFORE YOU GO
Practical details for travellers joining from anywhere in the world.
Yes. Namibia Halal Tours & Travel welcomes travellers worldwide. Arrange your international journey to Windhoek and tell us your flight details once your departure is confirmed. Passport nationality determines entry requirements, which may differ from your country of residence.
Visa requirements depend on your passport nationality, passport type and transit route. Check Namibia’s official immigration information and each transit country before ticketing. Visa and transit fees are not included; we can provide the itinerary and accommodation information for your application once booked.
Check current passport validity, blank-page and visa requirements for Namibia and every transit point. Carry your return or onward booking, travel documents and insurance details. Families should check the documents required for children. Any health-document requirements depend on your route.
Not yet. We plan to approach the Namibia Islamic Association (NIA) and the Namibia Islamic Halaal Association (NIHA) for halal guidance and applicable certification, subject to each organisation’s scope and approval. Once granted, we will share the certificate, its scope and validity. We do not currently claim certification or endorsement.
Namibia has diverse cultures and is not a Muslim-majority country. Your included halal meals and prayer support are provided by Namibia Halal Tours & Travel. Public spaces and shared accommodation may have different food and cultural practices, including alcohol service. Tell us any specific requirements before booking.
We plan prayer breaks throughout your journey. Mosque and Friday prayer visits depend on the itinerary, distance and local access arrangements. We will explain the practical plan for your dates before travel.
A short camel ride is planned within the package, subject to availability, rider suitability and the written booking. If it cannot be included, we will explain the alternative before you book. Paid upgrades are listed separately.
The core package includes coastal sightseeing, Walvis Bay lagoon and a guided Sandwich Harbour 4×4 excursion. A marine cruise or kayaking experience is an optional paid upgrade unless your written booking expressly includes it. Ocean and dune activities depend on weather and access conditions.
Yes. Adults and ages 13+ pay USD 2,999. Children aged 3–12 pay USD 2,399.20 (20% off) when sharing suitable accommodation with a paying adult, subject to room occupancy. Infants aged 0–2 and separate rooms require a quotation. Every child counts towards capacity. Age and activity suitability are checked before approval.
A shared departure is activated once at least 10 travellers have been approved (maximum 16). Approved travellers then pay in full by the deadline in their quotation, and the departure proceeds when at least 10 have paid. Until then it remains pending. If fewer than 10 have paid by the confirmation deadline, you may accept a new date or receive a full refund. See the cancellation and refund policy.
Namibia involves long road days, gravel roads and changing temperatures. Pack warm coastal layers, sun protection and comfortable walking shoes. Take professional travel-health advice for your actual route and arrange suitable medical and evacuation insurance. Rest, meal and prayer stops are planned along the journey.
We check your dates, group and family needs, then send a written quotation with accommodation, inclusions, meal plan, departure status, payment and cancellation terms. Approved bookings may be paid in full through secure Stripe checkout and an enquiry does not confirm a booking.
The main tour starts at 08:00 in Windhoek and returns after 15:00 on Day 10, subject to conditions. A pre-tour and post-tour Windhoek night are recommended and cost extra. Airport transfers and any same-day flight connection must be confirmed in writing before ticketing. An arrival-day flight must not be assumed to connect to the group departure.
